Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) for orders placed online at

We would like to familiarise you below with our standard terms and conditions, which govern how we process and settle your purchases. 

  1. Formation of contract and delivery of merchandise

1.1 For orders placed online at or offline at our shop: Stargarder Str 35, 10437 Berlin, we enter into English language contract. 

1.2 By clicking on "Buy now" on our online shop or by paying at our courter in our offline shop or transferring the money to our bank account, you are placing a binding order for the items in your shopping cart. Once you have submitted your order, we will send you an E-mail acknowledgement of your order. This confirms that we have received your order and is an acceptance of your offer. A binding contract is therefor formed.

1.3 In the event that an item you have ordered is unavailable, we will let you know as soon as we can and, where payment has already been made, make a refund to your payment method.

1.4 We will inform you about the expected delivery time on each product detail page as well as on our FAQ page.

1.5 We inform you about the delivery time also when you have the appointment with us in our physical shop.

1.6  We list here the Ready-to-Shipping timetable for majority of the products for your reference.

However, when confronted with any delay caused by the Clearance of the German Custom, we can not interfere the process nor guarantee any specific delivery time. We ask your understanding that even though we have already used the fastest and most expensive way of air shipping to import the goods, delay of delivering can still happen due to the complicated process of Clearance of the German Custom. In this case, you do not have the legal right to ask for refund.

  1. Prices, shipping costs 

2.1 The prices set out in the offer as at the date on which the order is placed shall apply. The stated prices are final prices (totals), in other words they include German value added tax at the applicable statutory rate. The merchandise remains our property, as the case may be, until full payment of the purchase price.

2.2 We tailor each piece of the Dress, Suit and some of the Accessories and the tailor service is without any extra cost.

2.3 We don’t assume the costs of shipping. Shipping rates are listed below:

Within Germany:

Bis 2kg : 5.99 €

Bis 5kg:  7.49 €

Bis 10kg: 9.49 €

However you are welcomed to pick up the order in our showroom.

  1. Customer Services and Guarantee

3.1 If the dress is not 100% fitting to the customer, we will take over the cost for the adjustments when it’s our fault: we measured you wrongly or we tailored the order wrongly;

3.2 In order to avoid conflicts in the future, we will send you the special requirements directly to your email after the appointment. However, when these occasions would happen, the loss shall be covered by customers themselves:

  • You lose or gain weight dramatically within our delivery period (5-8 weeks);
  • Your preference has been changed towards the special requirements which have been mutually agreed on: for instance, the preference towards the cut has been changed and etc.

  1. Payment

4.1 We generally accept the following payment methods: cash in advance, payment on account and payment through Paypal. We reserve the right not to accept certain payment methods for a given order and to refer to other payment methods. Please note that we only accept payments from accounts within the European Union (EU). You are responsible for any costs associated with money transactions.

4.2 In the case of credit card purchases, your card will be charged when we ship your order.

4.3 If you purchase on account, you will be informed about the due date of the purchase price before you place an order in the checkout.

4.4 You consent to receiving invoices and credits solely in electronic form.

  1. Promotional vouchers and their redemption

5.1 Promotional vouchers are vouchers that cannot be purchased, but are given out during advertising campaigns and are valid for a certain period of time.

5.2 Promotional vouchers can be redeemed once only in connection with an order, and only within the specified period. Promotional vouchers may not be used to purchase gift vouchers. Please note that a minimum order value may apply to the use of promotional vouchers.

5.3 The value of the merchandise must equal or exceed the value of the promotional voucher. If the voucher does not cover the value of the merchandise, the difference can be paid using any of the accepted payment methods. The value of promotional vouchers will not be paid out in cash, nor will it accrue interest. Promotional vouchers will not be refunded if all or some of the merchandise is returned.

5.4 Promotional vouchers can only be redeemed before the ordering process is complete. It is not possible to apply vouchers retrospectively. Promotional vouchers may not be transferred to third parties. Unless we have agreed otherwise, it is not possible to combine multiple promotional vouchers.

5.5 If you used a promotional voucher when making your purchase and, as a result of revocation by you, the total value of your order is less than or equal to the value of the promotional voucher, we reserve the right to charge you the original price for the merchandise you retain.

  1. Gift vouchers and their redemption

6.1 Gift vouchers are vouchers that can be purchased. They may only be redeemed to purchase products on Valetudo, not more gift vouchers. If the value of a gift voucher is not enough to cover the order, the difference can be paid using any of the accepted payment methods.Valetudo will not refund the voucher if you do not redeem it at the end;

6.2 Gift vouchers can only be redeemed and credits applied prior to completing your order. The value of gift vouchers will not be paid out in cash, nor will it accrue interest. 

6.3 the value of the voucher is not equal to the final value of the dress. Valetudo does not release the remaining value of the voucher if you use less money than stated on the voucher; You must pay the balance for the dress if the value of the voucher is not enough.

6.4 VAT is due when the voucher is redeemed.

  1. Statutory right of Revokation in respect of Valetudo merchandise

7.1 When you purchase Valetudo non-tailored merchandise, you have a statutory right of revocation. The first thing you should know is that if you decide to return or exchange the  merchandise, you will need to cover the returning cost. 

7.2 In the unlikely event that an item is returned to us in an unsuitable condition, we may have to send it back to you and your refund request will be thus denied. This does not affect your statutory rights.

7.3 We don’t accept any return or exchange for tailored merchandise because it’s tailored based on your individual body size and wishes. We provide every possible chance for you during the Try-On appointment to look at the dress before you make a final decision.

7.4 You have the right to revoke this contract within 14 days without giving any reasons however the revocation is only limited to the non-tailored products. The period of revocation is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you (but who is not the carrier), took possession of the last item of merchandise.

7.5 In order to exercise your right of revocation you must notify us (Mail: Valetudo, Stargarder Str 35, 10437 Berlin or E-Mail: ) of your decision to revoke the contract by sending us an unequivocal declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail). You will be deemed to have complied with the revocation period if you send your notice of revocation before such period expires.

7.6 If you revoke this contract, we are required to refund all payments we received from you, excluding delivery costs, without undue delay and at least within 14 days from the day on which we received your notice of revocation of this contract. Refunds will be processed using the same method of payment which you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. We will not charge you any fees for the refund. We may hold off completing your refund until we have received the merchandise back.

7.7 You are obliged to return or hand over all merchandise to us without undue delay, but at least within 14 days from the day on which you gave us your notice of revocation of this contract.

7.8 The above requirement is deemed satisfied if you return the goods before expiry of the 14-day period. You will be required to pay the return shipping costs. You are only obliged to cover any depreciation in the value of merchandise if the depreciation is attributable to your improper handling of the merchandise when examining its condition, properties and function.

The personal details as provided by customers for placing an order will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) by the European Union.
